Framon Demo Key Machine Program

bulletTKM-100 (Tubular Code)
bulletDBM-1 (Flat Steel Duplicator)
bulletSidewinder (High Security Automotive Duplicator)
bulletKX-1 (Dedicated Code)
bulletFRA-2001 (Computerized Code)
bulletMD-1 (Manual Duplicator)
bulletExpress (Semi-Automatic Duplicator)

These machines will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Customer Eligibility

If you are looking for a key machine but are unsure of what to buy, you can try one of our demo units for fourteen days. A locksmith can obtain a demo machine in one of two ways:

1. Sponsorship

If you have a long-standing relationship with a distributor, you can be “sponsored” by that distributor. Please realize that a distributor sponsoring you is accepting all responsibility for the machine, so some distributors may be reluctant to sponsor customers. All Framon distributors have been sent information on the demo program. Contact your distributor to determine whether they would be willing to sponsor you.

2. Credit Card or Check Deposit Directly From Customer

If you do not have a distributor to sponsor you, you can obtain a demo machine by supplying Framon Manufacturing with a credit card number. We will authorize the card for an amount 20% under suggested dealer price. Once the machine is returned, a credit will be applied to the credit card. If you do not have a credit card, a money order or bank draft will be accepted. An agreement will also be faxed to you which must be returned prior to shipping the demo machine.

Charges

The use of the key machine is free for fourteen days. Framon will charge a shipping fee to cover freight (payable by credit card or COD) both to and from your location (see below). Framon will issue a call tag to have the machine picked up from your location after the 14-day period.

Receiving The Machine

Each machine shipped will have a checklist included. You are to review the list to make sure all accessories supplied with the machine are received, as well as shipped back with the machine. Once accepted, you are responsible for the cost of all parts and accessories if they are not returned with the machine.

Charges After The Machine Is Returned To Framon

Normal wear & tear on the machine is expected during the demo period. We will bill you for any missing accessories, as well as any damage done to the machine while in your possession.

Deciding To Buy A Machine

If you decide to purchase a machine, you may keep the demo unit or have a new machine shipped in. There is no discount for the demo unit. Whether you are sponsored by a distributor or give Framon a security deposit for the machine, the sale of the machine must go through a distributor.

Freight Charges

Freight charges are applied to all key machines. This includes shipping to the customer and cost of a call tag to return the machine to Framon.
