Cutting Mitsubishi Transponder Keys
With The DC-300 / DuCode
NOTE: E5001-7700 Code Series Only! Use DOT Side Of Vise!
Follow these instructions to cut the new Mitsubishi transponder key with the DC-300 machine. This key must be held by the milling instead of the back of the vise due to the size of the key. It can be duplicated on the machine by holding it in the same manner. Before cutting a transponder key for the first time, we suggest code cutting a practice key on a MIT1 or MIT4 blank and checking the key in the door lock or trunk.
The space key required for this key is a 270T. Insert the key in the right
vise as you normally would. Next, insert the transponder key into the left vise,
holding it by the first milling on the blank (see Figure 1). Be sure the tip
stop on the machine extends far enough to stop the key at the tip, and not along
the angled tip of the blank.

The 11B or 200C cam should be used in conjunction with the 270T space key to originate this key. When duplicating, be sure the cam is on the #1 position as usual.
